This blog is an outgrowth of over forty years of in-depth study of the Bible, along with over forty years of scholarly study in the fields of history, psychology, sociology, popular culture, and education as they relate to the topic of Hell.
This is not a secular blog. I am a devoted Christian who believes that the Bible is the source of all knowledge about Hell, and that what it says trumps religious tradition and speculative theology.
It is not the purpose of this blog to question the existence of Hell. It is to question the traditional assumptions about Hell that have developed in the Christian world over the past 2000 years, to seek out their sources, and to examine how they line up with what the Bible itself actually says regarding Hell.
I am not affiliated with nor seeking proselytes for any religious denomination. My sole purpose is to offer facts, reasoning, and conclusions for readers to consider as they form their own opinions about the topics covered in the blog entries.
